Lexington, KY — The Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) has formed an editorial alliance with ADVANCE for Audiologists, a national resource offering strategies for business profitability and growth to audiology professionals. Through this alliance, all qualified members of the ADA have the opportunity to receive every issue of ADVANCE for Audiologists free of charge. Additionally, the ADA will begin providing a regular column in ADVANCE as of the May-June 2010 issue. The column’s theme will be issues in private practice. "ADVANCE for Audiologists and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology have many common interests,” stated Judi Biederman, editor of ADVANCE for Audiologists. “In particular, ADA's focus on business issues and advocacy of practice ownership support the editorial mission of ADVANCE to provide strategies for growth and profitability to audiologists in private practice. I welcome this partnership and the chance to share the expertise of ADA and its members with ADVANCE readers.” “ADA is pleased to serve as a regular contributor to ADVANCE for Audiologists,” said ADA President, Tabitha Parent Buck, Au.D. “ADVANCE and ADA both have a longstanding history of delivering valuable information to private practitioners, and this collaboration will expand opportunities for both organizations to provide timely and relevant resources to ADA members and autonomous audiologists everywhere.” ADA is dedicated to the advancement of practitioner excellence, high ethical standards, professional autonomy and sound business practices in the provision of quality audiologic care. It offers programming and support to those audiologists and students who are or who desire to be autonomous practitioners in whatever setting they choose to practice. |
