Reimbursement is when the health care provider is paid for their time and expertise by the patient or the health plan. In this workshop, we will discuss mechanisms to maximize reimbursement in an audiology practice. This will include modernization of care delivery, managed care participation, coverages, and non-participation and pricing considerations.

**Attendees will be able to:**

1. List the steps in determining who can perform each procedure in an audiology practice.
2. Document the scope of practice, documentation and clinical requirements of evaluation and management code use in an audiology practice.
3. Document the requirements to the value of providing and billing for auditory rehabilitation. (4) List the pros and cons of participation in managed care plans. (5) Outline different care delivery and pricing models.
