Team unity is shaped by the values, motivations, and mindsets individuals bring into the workplace. This course provides a practical framework for understanding team dynamics through the lens of human behavior, motivation, and leadership awareness. This webinar will explore research-based factors that influence trust, collaboration, and decision-making, and learn how common thought patterns and assumptions affect team culture. Through tools such as motivation analysis, above-the-line leadership practices, and small actionable changes, attendees will gain strategies to identify team strengths, reduce friction, improve communication, and embed a culture of accountability and psychological safety within their audiology practice.
Upon completion of the course, attendees will be able to:
- Explain how individual values, motivators, and behavior shape team dynamics
- Describe signs of below-the-line thinking and explain how these patterns impact performance and team culture
- Apply practice leadership tools to strengthen accountability, improve communication, and enhance team unity in audiology settings
Members who are logged will be provided with a CE Credit link (below) through the end of 2026. Afterwards, CE will no longer be made available. Members however are still welcome to watch the presentation independently for non-CE credit.

Dr. Badstubner is a Career and Life Coach and Co-Owner of dB Coaching Group with over 20 years of experience. With a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and a doctoral degree in Audiology, she has worked with individuals across the lifespan in various settings. She gets great joy from supporting and up-leveling individuals and businesses to discover or rediscover their limitless potential. Dr. Badstubner has been featured in local magazines, presented at national conferences and has been an invited expert for the television special “Ask the Doctor.”
Dr. Kari Morgenstein Dermer
Dr. Dermer is an Executive and Life Coach and Co-Owner of dB Coaching Group with over 15 years of experience teaching, mentoring, and coaching. Dr. Morgenstein Dermer is passionate about supporting women in medicine and challenging the status quo. She began her career at the University of Miami Department of Otolaryngology as the Founding Director of the UM Children’s Hearing Program. Under her leadership, she designed, developed and led a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers while gaining international recognition.
