Many studies have found an association between untreated hearing loss, Alzheimer’s disease and other types of cognitive issues. These studies determine that patients with hearing loss are more likely to develop cognitive problems than people who do not have hearing loss. This session will discuss the importance of audiologists to identify potential cognitive decline and how to implement this in an audiology practice.
