About Aspire Hearing & Balance: Aspire Hearing & Balance is a privately-owned, premier audiology private practice located in Lakeland, Florida, dedicated to providing upscale, personalized care to our patients. Founded in 2017, the practice has seen substantial growth and is looking to add another amazing audiologist to the team. We specialize in diagnosing and treating hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders using evidence-based practices and cutting-edge technology. Our team is passionate about improving patients’ quality of life through individualized solutions, including hearing devices, cochlear implants, real-ear verification, and hearing conservation programs.

Your Role: As an audiologist, you will conduct thorough evaluations, recommend appropriate solutions through individualized treatment plans, complete timely documentation, and provide ongoing support to patients of all ages. You’ll work closely with our whole team including fellow audiologists, our Director of Operations, and Patient Care Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional patient journey by fostering a warm, welcoming environment, actively listening to patients' needs, and tailoring care to exceed expectations.
  • Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations to diagnose hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders in patients of all ages (primarily ages 4 and older).
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including fitting, programming, and verifying hearing devices and other hearing solutions.
  • Perform real-ear verification, HIT box measurements, and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal hearing device outcomes.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing health, device care, and communication strategies.
  • Conduct tinnitus assessments and provide management strategies or referrals as needed.
  • Conduct functional balance assessments and provide effective treatment for BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo).
  • Provide cerumen management using a variety of techniques, including instrumentation, suction, and the Earigator system.
  • Create custom ear molds and hearing protection solutions, taking ear mold impressions using traditional methods or advanced 3D scanning technology.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hearing devices, including assisting patients with Bluetooth connectivity and app pairing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including diagnostic results and treatment progress, all completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Participate in community outreach, educational events, or marketing initiatives to promote hearing health awareness and practice growth.
  • Stay current with advancements in audiology through continuing education and professional development.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the practice, including assisting with administrative tasks and workflow improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program preferred but Master’s degree in Audiology (M.A.) required.
  • Valid state licensure as an audiologist in Florida (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong knowledge of hearing loss, tinnitus, balance disorders, and treatment options.
  • Knowledge of multiple manufacturers fitting protocols, software, and products.
  • Strong communication and counseling skills, with the ability to educate and support patients and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and contribute to a positive, patient-focused culture.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, a good sense of humor, honesty, and kindness. Maintains professionalism by avoiding gossip or criticism, and demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in a private practice setting is a plus, but not required.

We perform full Criminal, Credit, and Drug testing (to include Nicotine and tobacco) and personal and professional background checks on all applicants being considered for positions.

Compensation: $95,000 to $130,000 depending on experience

  • Base salary: $72,000-$98,000 per year
  • Competitive salary based on experience
